An accident occurred today (09) when a motorcycle collided with a prime mover.

It happened near Lucas Road in Grandpass.

The cyclist who was injured in the accident died after being admitted to the Colombo National Hospital.

The deceased is a 21-year-old resident of Peliyagoda.

It is reported that the prime mover driver who caused the accident has been arrested by the police.
