The Ministry of Health says that 203 meningitis patients have been reported from several areas of the island.

Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Hansaka Wijemuni stated that the patients have been reported from Deniyaya, Diyatalawa, Rikillagaskada, and Kandy areas.
