The National Water Supply and Drainage Board says that water supply will be suspended for nine hours today (21) to several areas in Colombo.

It is due to a maintenance work to be carried out by the Ceylon Electricity Board at the Ambatale water treatment plant.

Accordingly, water supply will be suspended to Colombo, Dehiwala - Mount, Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte and Kaduwela municipal council areas, Maharagama, Boralasgamuwa and Kolonnawa municipal council areas, Kotikawatta - Mulleriya local council area and Ratmalana from 11.00 am today.
