All three people who were injured in a fire that broke out at a restaurant near the Thalawathugoda junction and were hospitalized have died.

It is reported that 03 fire engines belonging to the Kotte Municipal Council have been deployed to douse the fire.

The police have expressed suspicion that the fire broke out due to a gas leak.

It is reported that the Thalangama Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
