Avatar 2: The Way of Water became the sixth film to ea more than USD 2 billion at the worldwide box office last weekend, foreign media reported.

James Cameron directed three of the six films that crossed the USD 2 billion mark.
 
Topping the list is Cameron's Avatar, which grossed US$2,922,917,914 in 2009.

In second place is Avengers: Endgame, which ea ed US$2,797,501,328.
 
Third is Cameron's Titanic with $2,187,535,296.
 
Fourth place is Star Wars: The Force Awakens at USD 2,068,223,624 and fifth is Avengers: Infinity War at USD 2,048,359,754.

Cameron has already announced the release of three more parts of the Avatar series.
