A fatal accident has occurred today (09) when a three-wheeler collided with a train.

It happened at the railway crossing between Kapuwatta and Kandana.

The three-wheeler driver and a woman passenger died in the accident.

Police stated that the deceased woman is a 75-year-old resident of Ja-Ela, and information about the three-wheeler driver has not been revealed yet.
