President Joe Biden has confirmed that Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri was killed by the US in a drone attack in Afghanistan.
 
Last Sunday, he died in an anti-terrorist operation conducted by the CIA in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan.
 
It took a decade for the United States to track down and kill Bin Laden.

After that, Zawahiri took over the leadership of Al-Qaeda and continued until now.
 
However, a Taliban spokesman described the US operation as a clear violation of inte ational principles.
