The OIC of the Welikada Police Station has been arrested.

By officers of the Colombo Central Crime Investigation Bureau.

He has been arrested on charges of demanding a bribe of Rs. 300,000 each to release the passports of 19 Chinese nationals arrested in connection with an inte et scam.
