A small plane carrying two people crashed into a power transmission tower in Montgomery County, Maryland on Sunday evening.
It is said that this incident happened at a height of about 100 feet from the ground.
Due to this, electricity has been cut off in a large area of the state.
Authorities say the single-engine Mooney M20J crashed into PEPCO power transmission wires near Goshen Road and Rothbury Drive in Gaithersburg around 5:40 p.m.
The pilot and passenger were uninjured but remain trapped in the plane, which is attached to the transmission tower.
