The gove ment has taken steps to revise the air fares for inte ational flights flying through the Colombo Flight Information Zone.

Cabinet Spokesman Minister Bandula Gunawardena said that Airports and Airlines (Sri Lanka) Limited charges the air fare related to inte ational flights flying through the Colombo Flight Information Zone and it has not been revised since 1985.

Accordingly, the Cabinet has approved the proposal presented by the Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation to revise the air navigation fees for inte ational flights flying through the Colombo Flight Information Zone from February 01, 2023.
