The National Election Commission has decided to call political parties that are not currently represented in Parliament for a round of discussions.
Accordingly, the secretaries of such parties have been summoned to the Election Commission on August 23.
The Commission mainly expects to discuss with the representatives of political parties the proposals presented by the Parliamentary Select Committee on electoral law reforms.
The commission stated that it is preparing a program to implement those proposals.
About 50 registered political parties in this country are not represented in the current Parliament.
The National Election Commission has already discussed with 15 political parties representing the Parliament.
