The latest work done to facilitate bringing investors to Sri Lanka



The Sri Lanka Board of Investment has started the online visa recommendation process for investors.
 
That is as a step to digitize the Sri Lanka Investment Board's activities.
 
They point out that this will make it easier to bring investors to Sri Lanka.

This process is carried out jointly by the Sri Lanka Board of Investment, the Department of Immigration and the Ministry of Defence.
 
The Board of Investments of Sri Lanka issues an announcement between 7,500 - 8,000 visas annually based on the needs of investors.

The Sri Lanka Board of Investment further stated that the online visa recommendation process has been started to facilitate the process for the investors to avoid having to visit the head office of the Sri Lanka Board of Investment several times.
