The announcement issued by the Department of Meteorology today (25) states that rain or thundershowers will occur at places in the evening or night in Weste and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle and Matara districts.

Easte and Uva provinces and southe coastal areas may experience some rain in the mo ing.
 
People are kindly requested to take necessary measures to reduce the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
