The first review related to the extended credit facility granted to Sri Lanka by the Inte ational Monetary Fund is to be conducted.

The delegation of the Inte ational Monetary Fund who came to Sri Lanka said that it will be done in the coming September.

Led by Peter Brewer and Masahiro Nozaki, the team arrived in Sri Lanka on May 11.

Accordingly, the delegation of the Inte ational Monetary Fund has completed its visit today (May 23).

During this visit, attention has been focused on the implementation of Sri Lanka's Economic Development and Inte ational Monetary Fund program.

The group also mentioned that there have been some positive changes in the Sri Lankan economy.

But overall, the macroeconomic and policy environment remains challenging, the delegates said.
