Batticoloa - Polonnaruwa main road closed till further notice
The Batticoloa-Polonnaruwa main road was closed completely until further notice due to the opening of the sluice gates of Parakrama Samudra at 10 a.m., the Polonnaruwa Disaster Management Centre said.
Vehicles traveling towards Batticaloa can travel through Giritale, Elahera, Bakamoona, and Dehi Attakandiya roads as an alte ate route.
