The head of Nato Jens Stoltenberg had an interview with BBC recently.
He has said that if China does not change its ways, it should face consequences for supporting Russia's war in Ukraine.
Stoltenberg stressed that China is trying to act contradictory by supporting Russia's war against Ukraine while maintaining relationships with European allies.
He explained further in the interview sharing a lot of technologies like micro-electronics, which are key for Russia to build missiles, weapons they use against Ukraine.
Nato chief added that they would consider some kind of economic cost from China if it doesn't change their conduct.
China has asserted that it does not sell lethal weapons and 'prudently handles the export of dual-use items by laws and regulations.'
Beijing is already under some sanctions due to its support for Russia—last month, the US imposed restrictions on about 20 Chinese firms.
Russia has faced growing isolation inte ationally since it began the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
