Dilith Jayaweera, leader of Sarvajana Balaya’ alliance, has been nominated as the party’s National List Member of Parliament.

The nomination, based on the party’s performance in this year’s parliamentary elections, was officially communicated to the Election Commission by the party's General Secretary, lawyer Ranjan Senaviratne.

Sarvajana Balaya’ alliance, a newly formed political party, secured 178,006 votes in the election, ea ing the right to a National List seat.
