A few moments ago, the Gove ment Medical Officers Association announced that the medical strike planned for tomorrow has been suspended.

That is due to the withdrawal of the decision to suspend the January stipend of Rs 35,000.

Accordingly, the letter issued temporarily suspending the payment of the 35,000 stipend along with the January salary of the doctors has been cancelled.

The Director General of Health Services has also instructed to give the DAT allowance through special vouchers to the doctors who are not given the allowance along with the January salary.
