6 antiquities belonging to Sri Lanka, which were in the Netherlands, have been handed over to Sri Lanka early this mo ing.
Minister Vidura Wickramanayake and a group of others received the artefacts at Katunayake Airport.
The goods were officially handed over by the Dutch ambassador to Sri Lanka.
The collection of antiques includes the Lewke district cannon, two gold chestnuts, two knives, silver chestnuts and two guns, which have been in the Netherlands for over 150 years.
