In response to increased Ukrainian drone strikes deep inside Russian territory, security measures have been enhanced around President Vladimir Putin’s summer residence on Lake Valdai.

Satellite images reveal the installation of several Pantsir-S1 air defense systems near the residence, located within a heavily restricted gove ment resort in the Valdai National Park.

This move reflects conce s over Ukraine's growing capability to develop and deploy long-range attack drones. The installation of these systems, which can counter short-range missiles and drones, underscores the strategic importance of the residence and the escalating drone warfare between Russia and Ukraine.
