The Department of Meteorology has issued a statement saying that there will be rain or thundershowers at a few places in the Easte , North Central and Uva provinces and Trincomalee district during the evening or at night.

There may be some rain in the mo ing in the weste coastal areas and Galle and Matara districts.
 
People are kindly requested to take necessary measures to reduce the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
