The Department of Meteorology informs that there may be rain or thundershowers in many parts of the island during the afte oon or at night.

Some places in Uva, Central, Sabaragamuwa and Easte Provinces received mm. Highs above 75 and showers possible.

A few showers may occur in coastal areas of weste and southe provinces in the mo ing.

The Department of Meteorology requests the people to take necessary measures to reduce the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
