Mr. Shammi Silva, President of Sri Lanka Cricket, says that due to his successful efforts to tu the Sri Lanka Cricket into a profitable and advanced institution, some parties are trying to take control of it.

He also made a comment the reports about providing facilities to outsiders including actors and actresses to go to Australia for the 2022 Cricket World Cup.

Accordingly, the chairman said that if any evidence is presented to support the claims that Sri Lanka Cricket used its money, he will resign from his position.
