The Sri Lanka Cricket Institute Executive Committee has decided to bring together cricket coaches and physiotherapists to get advanced training for the Sri Lanka Cricket Team.
In a statement released by the Sri Lanka Cricket Institute, Sri Lanka Cricket Institute has decided to use local coaches, trainers and physiotherapists to improve their skills and competencies by conducting periodic training programs in selected fields.
Also, the Sri Lanka Cricket Institute has decided to get the services of some well-known talents in inte ational cricket to provide advanced training.
For this, the executive committee has decided to get the services of former South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes, a specialist fielding coach, Bharat Arun, the fast bowling coach of the Indian national team, and Alex Kontori, the former physiotherapist of the Sri Lankan national team.
The announcement further states that this program will start this year.
