Batticaloa Teaching Hospital radiology technicians started a strike on Friday (29) against the actions of the hospital director. It is reported that it is due to the non-payment of overtime to the employees of that department. The strike will continue until Saturday (30). Chanaka Dharmawickrama, president of the Gove ment Radiology Technologists Association, said that the strike was started against the action of the hospital director.
