Acting Inspector General of Police Deshbandhu Thennakoon says that in the year 2023 alone, more than 1 lakh obscene videos of minors have been released on social networks by various people.

This identification has been done under the special project called 'I Mac' of the Children and Women's Bureau.

Accordingly, investigations have started on the people who posted such obscene videos on social networks.

The Acting Inspector General of Police said that every video will be investigated and the people who posted it on social media will be arrested during this year.
