The Ministry of Agriculture has taken the necessary steps to conduct a census of animals that damage crops on the day after tomorrow (15).
According to the leaflet printed for this purpose, the animal census is scheduled to be held on that day from 08.00 to 08.05 a.m.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Lands, and Irrigation stated that Rs. 2,478,000 was spent on printing documents related to the animal census, and approximately 30 cents were spent on each census leaflet.
The Gove ment Printing Department has been instructed to submit about 7 million such documents for the census.
It is reported that a special committee has also been appointed to monitor the animal census of animals that damage crops, such as monkeys, giant squirrels, and peacocks.
