30 criminals were arrested in raids carried out yesterday (02) in connection with the crime and drug operations carried out across the island on the instructions of the Inspector General of Police.

This was after checking 26,015 people.

In addition, 789 suspects, 269 day warrant holders, 174 open warrant holders, and 48 drunk drivers were arrested.

The police stated that 27 reckless driving cases and 3737 traffic offenses were also reported.
