The second reading of the 2024 budget is scheduled to be presented by President Ranil Wickramasinghe today (13) from 12:00 noon.

After that, MPs are going to debate the second reading of the 2024 budget in seven days.

This year, the 78th budget of the country will be presented to the parliament.

The 2024 budget third reading committee session or debate will be held for 19 days and the final vote on the Appropriation Bill is scheduled to be held from November 22.
