Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe says that the world's first inte ational environmental university will be established in Sri Lanka to provide the necessary support to the world to deal with climate change.

President Ranil Wickramasinghe said this while addressing the 10th Environmental Pilot Presidential Medal Award Ceremony held at the Bandaranaike Memorial Inte ational Conference Hall.

The President further pointed out that although climate change is a challenge to the world today, there is still no center to conduct research on it.

Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe, who spoke further, said that steps will be taken to bring a new environmental law to deal with climate change in the future.
