Representing Sri Lanka, a bar association in Singapore is going to appear in the case.

On the 26th, the Atto ey General's Department filed a lawsuit in Singapore court seeking compensation for the environmental damage caused by the Express Pearl ship accident.
Meanwhile, the Maritime Environment Protection Authority says that steps have been taken to recalculate the damage caused by the Express Pearl ship that caught fire in Sri Lanka's waters.
Its chairman, Mr. Asela Rakeva, a lawyer, stated that the preparation of the report has started as per the instructions of the Atto ey General's Department.
