At least 25 people have died in a fire in an office building in northe China, state media reports.

It is said that the fire in the four-story building located in Luliang city of Shanxi province started around 07:00 local time.

Foreign media also say that 51 people who were in the building have been hospitalized.

It is reported that despite the control of the fire, the rescue operations are still going on.
