District Secretary Nandana Galaboda says that permission should be obtained for visiting the mountains in Nuwara Eliya district from now on.

Accordingly, the district secretary said that such permission should be obtained from the Department of Forest Conservation and the Department of Wildlife.

After submitting the permission obtained in this way to the police, the permission for the trip is granted.
 
The Nuwara Eliya District Secretary mentioned that this decision was taken during the discussion held recently after the discovery of a dead body near the top of the hill in the Great Weston area.
