A group of representatives of the Inte ational Monetary Fund (IMF) is scheduled to visit the island tonight (10).
Accordingly, the Ministry of Finance stated that they will stay in the country from tomorrow (11) to the 17th.
The main purpose of the visit of the representatives of the Inte ational Monetary Fund is to study the recent trends in the economy of Sri Lanka.
Also, the Ministry of Finance announced that after receiving the loan facility from the Financial Fund, the study of the economic reform process in this country will be carried out by the same group.
It is reported that they have also arranged to discuss with the President, Prime Minister, Ministry of Finance and Central Bank officials.
