The official discussions between the Inte ational Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation and the Sri Lankan authorities will start from today (16).
Accordingly, the six-member Inte ational Monetary Fund representatives will hold discussions with the officials of the Electricity Board, Central Bank, Ministry of Finance and other institutions, said Finance Minister Shehan Semasinghe.
There will be discussions between Sri Lanka and the Inte ational Monetary Fund regarding the further strengthening of the program.
They recently met the President and expressed their appreciation for the significant progress that Sri Lanka has made in carrying out economic reforms and the delegation of the IMF will stay in the country until the 19th.
