Sri Lanka has been approved to provide the IMF financial installment of 337 million dollars.

This is after the completion of the first review under the IMF's upcoming 48-month Extended Fund Facility with Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, the executive board of the fund has indicated that the Inte ational Monetary Fund is satisfied with the economic progress shown by Sri Lanka.
