The interim budget for the first four months of 2025 has allocated Rs. 1,402 billion for maintaining gove ment operations and continuing ongoing projects.

The Ministry of Transport, Highways, Ports, and Civil Aviation received the largest allocation at Rs. 220.06 billion. Other significant allocations include:

• Ministry of Financial Planning and Economic Development: Rs. 186.02 billion
• Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils, and Local Gove ment: Rs. 170.47 billion
• Ministry of Health and Mass Media: Rs. 161.99 billion
• Ministry of Defense: Rs. 142.95 billion

Additionally, Rs. 92 billion was allocated for the Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education, while Rs. 67.36 billion was designated for the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Lands, and Irrigation.
