The circular related to providing living expenses allowance and pension allowance in public service has been issued.

That is by the Ministry of Public Administration and Home Affairs.

Ministry Secretary Mr. Pradeep Yasaratne has forwarded the said circular to the Ministry Secretaries to the Provincial Chief Secretaries and Heads of Departments.

According to the 2024 budget proposals, the living expenses allowance of gove ment officials should be increased with effect from January in that circular.
