Netflix has disabled password sharing for the US and more than 100 other countries.
Accordingly, the agency announced that the relevant account holders cannot share their passwords outside their homes.
The announcement also states that strict action will be taken against people who do so.
Accordingly, e-mails about account sharing have already been sent to customers in 103 countries including the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Australia, Singapore, Mexico and Brazil.
It states that a Netflix account should only be used in one household.
But after making a special payment, a member outside the house can be added.
Netflix has taken this decision with the aim of increasing its income.
