Notice about obtaining Vehicle Revenue License Online



The people have been given the facility to get the vehicle revenue license quickly online.

This is being implemented under the e-Vehicle Revenue Licensing Program (eRL) jointly with the Sri Lanka Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) and the Provincial Motor Transport Department and in collaboration with the Motor Transport Department.
 
Obtaining a new vehicle revenue license as well as the facility to renew the existing revenue license (eRL) has been provided under the program.

The financial payments for obtaining licenses through the online system can be made by credit card and you will receive the related temporary income license through the e-mail address.
 
The Permanent Income Permit will reach your home by registered post in a few days.
 
The people can get this facility from all the regional secretariats of the island and it has been powered by the infrastructure systems of Lanka Gove ment Network and Lanka Gove ment Cloud.

The Sri Lanka Information and Communication Technology Agency states that more facilities are to be added under the second phase of the project with the aim of making the issuance of vehicle licenses more efficient.
 
Accordingly, regardless of the province in which the vehicle is already registered, it will be possible to get it from any regional secretariat office.

Furthermore, by taking steps to scan the documents required to issue the vehicle revenue license, the work has been completed quickly and this has helped to reduce the use of paper, reduce costs and save the green environment.
 
The annual average number of vehicle revenue licenses issued by the entire province of the island has exceeded 5.5 million and the revenue ea ed from it has exceeded 10 billion.
