Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Pyongyang, North Korea, just before 03:00 local time today (19th), and was welcomed by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin reportedly have a nine-hour schedule today, including a photo opp and 90 minutes of talks followed by a tea party.
The two political leaders met last September in far easte Russia, but this is Putin’s first visit to Pyongyang since 2000.
Putin will visit Vietnam, a long-time ally, after North Korea.
