The Department of Meteorology says in a statement that there will be rain or thundershowers at a few places in the evening or night in Easte and Uva provinces.

It also stated that there may be some rain in the mo ing at the coastal areas of Weste Province and Galle and Matara districts.

People are kindly requested to take necessary measures to reduce the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
