SriLankan Airlines has been awarded the ‘Best Airline Partner’ title by Tamil Nadu Tourism, recognizing the airline’s vital role in promoting the region’s tourism.

The airline operates 35 weekly flights from Colombo to major Tamil Nadu cities, including Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, and Madurai. These flights cater to a diverse group of travelers, such as shoppers, pilgrims, and medical tourists.

Dimuthu Tennakoon, Head of Worldwide Sales and Distribution at SriLankan Airlines, expressed pride in the achievement, highlighting the airline’s commitment to enhancing regional connectivity and offering quality service.

He also emphasized the growing potential of Tamil Nadu as a travel destination and SriLankan Airlines' ongoing efforts to expand its presence in the region.
