The Department of Meteorology has issued an announcement that there will be rain or thundershowers in some places in the evening or at night.

There may also be rain in the mo ing in Weste and Sabaragamuwa provinces and Galle and Matara districts.

Some places in the Central, Sabaragamuwa, Easte and Uva provinces may experience heavy rains of about 75 mm.
 
People are kindly requested to take necessary measures to reduce the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
