According to the Yahoo Finance website, Sri Lanka has been included among the 20 poorest countries in Asia due to the economic crisis.

This ranking has been done based on the per capita GDP of 2021.

Accordingly, it is reported that Sri Lanka has the 17th place among the 20 poorest countries in Asia.
 
It shows that Sri Lanka's GDP per capita in 2021 is US$ 5,555.
