America and Canada have announced that they will investigate the cause of the Titan submarine explosion that killed five people.

The investigation will be conducted jointly by the US Coast Guard and the Transportation Safety Board of Canada with the support of the US National Transportation Safety Board.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said they are looking into whether a formal criminal investigation is needed into the crash.

That is in response to the suspicion that this accident was a planned crime or a crime that happened in some other way.

The Coast Guard announced that the wreckage of the submarine was located 12,500 feet (3,810 meters) underwater and 1,600 feet away from the Titanic wreckage.

After that, foreign media reported that it has been decided to look for facts regarding the need for a criminal investigation.
