The Supreme Court set the date for the hearing of the fundamental rights petition filed against the former Finance Ministers Mahinda Rajapaksa, Basil Rajapaksa and others on July 5th.

That was when the petition was called before a five-member Supreme Court bench led by Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya today (08).

The Fundamental Rights Petition has been filed seeking an order to conduct an investigation against the people responsible for the current economic crisis.
