US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has extended his greetings to the people of Sri Lanka on the occasion of Sri Lanka’s 77th Independence Day.

In a statement, he said that in the coming year, he looks forward to increasing trade and investment between our countries and strengthening our security cooperation to advance stability and prosperity across the Indo-Pacific region.
