Ukraine Establishes Military Office in Russia's Kursk Region



Ukraine has set up a military administrative office in Russia's Kursk region as its forces continue their incursion into Russian territory. General Oleksandr Syrsky stated the office would address local needs and maintain order. Moscow, in response, plans to send reinforcements to protect the population.

Ukraine has reportedly advanced 35 kilometers into Kursk, controlling 1,150 square kilometers, but insists its aim is to pressure Russia into peace, not seize territory. Weste -supplied equipment is being used, raising conce s about escalation, though restrictions on long-range missile use remain in place.
