Sri Lanka's super runner Yupun Abeykoon qualified for the 100m finals of an athletics tou ament held in Italy.

Yupun recorded a time of 10.04 seconds.

He qualified for the final round of the 12° MEETING INTERNAZIONALE “CITTÀ DI SAVONA” athletics tou ament by taking second place in the first round of the competition.
 
Accordingly, Sri Lanka's Yupun Abeykoon, who participated in the 100m men's race at the Savona Inte ational Athletics Tou ament held in Italy, finished second with a time of 10.01 seconds.

The first place was won by Reece Prescod of Great Britain who finished the race in 9.94 seconds.
